POSITION TITLE:
Marketing and Outreach Manager

DESCRIPTION:
Leading STEAM education provider for the Chicago Orthodox Jewish community is seeking an outgoing and digital-savvy individual with robust marketing and communications experience. This individual will support and lead a variety of marketing, communications, social media and public relations initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented project leader with the
ability to craft compelling content, use data to inform decisions, build relationships and steward brand integrity across channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
∙ Work with marketing leadership to build a more robust, cohesive brand experience ∙ Serve as internal steward of brand integrity for visual, aesthetic and language in all materials ∙ Create and drive the content that will be shared on social media, email and web platforms ∙ Collaborate on the development of marketing materials including flyers, postcards, videos, signage and brochures
∙ Manage a monthly marcom calendar that delineates multi-channel messaging that aligns with strategic goals
∙ Populate a monthly social media calendar to ensure alignment with messaging pillars and to create a more robust social media presence
∙ Plan and manage outreach for all programs including advertising schedule, email campaigns, and social media (as well as school and parent outreach)
∙ Plan and engage in school and parent outreach (as advised by organization directors) ∙ Steward community ambassadors to build awareness and drive brand activity ∙ Plan and organize promotional events and activities (webinars, open houses, etc.) ∙ Provide monthly analytics reports of social media, website, email and partner organization/ambassador outreach
∙ Partner with marketing leadership in development and launch of new website and launch of new brand
∙ Update website as needed and ensure integrity of content
∙ Take photography and video to support social media and email messaging ∙ Develop, write and distribute press releases
∙ Develop media relationships and maintain updated distribution lists
∙ Maintain archive of publicity and marketing materials
∙ Maintain archive of organizational brand assets (logos, templates, photography, etc.) as well as manage stock of physical swag and marketing materials
∙ Assist and promote as needed at all-staff events and with projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
∙ BS/BA in one of the following majors preferred: Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
∙ 3+ years marketing and communications experience required with proven success in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
∙ Strong writing and editing skills with experience crafting compelling content for web, email, social media and print
∙ Previous success managing simultaneous projects, budgets and deadlines ∙ Knowledge of and experience with content management systems, email marketing platforms and social media platforms and trends
∙ Knowledge of and experience with email and social media analytics and Google Analytics ∙ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat. Experience with digital asset management, digital advertising and SEO is a plus
∙ Exhibits professional work ethic and stays current with the latest trends in print and digital marketing
∙ Ability to work in a supportive role with colleagues in a variety of program planning contexts ∙ Must be growth-oriented and proactive in methodologies to increase and retain program enrollment
∙ Communicates effectively with constituents and encourages positive organization-community relationships
∙ Experience working in the Jewish world and understanding of the Orthodox Jewish community preferred
∙ Must be available for weekend and weeknight work as needed
